Poker is one of the most popular games and hence it has made an entry into the popular culture. The game has also become popular because of televised poker tournaments, online games and celebrity interest. Now a documentary movie “All In- The Poker Movie” is set to further elevate the interest of the game by looking at the game from its initial rise, fall and then making a major comeback in America.

The movie is directed by Douglas Tirola and it looks at the history of the game from the days when it was played underground in New York City clubs to its recent popularity which includes gambling and online playing. Though poker is played all over the world, from the looks of the trailer one can say that the focus of the game is on its history and impact in America as discussed by celebrities and poker players like Matt Damon and Chris Moneymaker.

Apart from Damon and Moneymaker, celebrities like Phil Hellmuth Jr, Ira Glass, Chris Ferguson, Howard Lederer, Daniel Negreanu, Annie Duke, Frank Deford etc will also be casted in the film. The movie will hit theatres on March 23 and will be available via iTunes on April 24.
